Post Office
Located in Higgins Place Higgins at the local
shopping centre, in the Belconnen district, 12 kms west of the City centre,
Higgins post office opened as a post, telephone and money order office on 23
July 1971.
Later being designated a Post Office Agency and subsequently a Licensed Post Office the Office operated from Shops 8 and 6 within the shopping centre. It was closed prior to 2020.

The office utilized a Type 4A(i) ‘ACT’
post code 2615 date stamp recorded between 1976 and 1993. A Type 4F ‘ACT’ ‘M/R
& code 2’ date stamp was recorded between 1994 and 1995.
