Post Office located 17 kms south south west of the City Centre in the district
of Tuggeranong opened as a post office on 29 March 1982 operated by Mrs M A
Temby. The Post Office was located in Room L1.02 (School Library), Erindale Centre, Wanniassa. The Office closed on 27 June 1986.
On 30 June 1986 the Office was designated an Official Post Office, reopening in a new building, not far from the previous postal agency. The office changed name to Erindale Centre on 1 November 1989.
A.C.T. Relief '147' seen used at the Office from 29 October 1982. A.C.T. Relief date stamp '108' was seen at Wanniassa on 8 September 1988.
