Narrabundah (II) Post Office


A post and telegraph office and money order office changed from Narrabundah East Post Office on 1 August 1960 and operated by K E Battey. The office was located on Boolimba Crescent at the shopping centre. 

Narrabundah is now a Licensed Post Office located at 2 Iluka Street, near the intersection with Kootara Crescent and within the shopping centre. 

As at February 2020, Narrabundah Licensed Post Office was operating from the Narrabundah Newsagency 2 Iluka Street, within the local shopping centre.

The office utilized a Type 3(i) ‘ACT’ date stamp transferred from Narrabundah (I) Post Office. Use recorded from 1966 to 1994.

Narrabundah East


Narrabundah East Post Office



Established as a post and telegraph office and money order office on 11 January 1960 operated by A W Cawley, the Office operated from 8 - 10 Iluka Street. Changed to Narrabundah (II) Post Office on 1 August 1960.

On opening the Office utilised N.S.W. Relief date stamp '82' until the new date stamp was delivered. The Relief was still being used by 9 June 1960. A Type 3A date stamp is recorded as being used in 1960. A short lived post office and rare date stamp.
