Farrer Post Office
Located in
Farrer Place, Farrer, 15 kms from the City Centre in the Weston Creek district,
the Farrer post office opened as a post, telephone and money order office on 29
June 1970. The money order office closed on 31 December 1988 and the
post office is now a licensed post office operated from space in the local
supermarket.
The office
utilized Relief date stamp '107 ACT AUST' on opening and a Type 4A(i) post code 2607 date stamp recorded between 1977 and 1982.
