Pearce Post Office
Located on
Hodgson Crescent Pearce, 12 kms south west of the City centre in the Woden Valley
district, the office opened as a post and telephone office with money order
facilities on 1 August 1968, operated by A J McGrath (acting). The
office closed on 28 March 1987.
On opening the Office utilised A.C.T. Relief '108' date stamp until the new regular date stamp arrived. The office subsequently
utilised a Type 4A(i) ‘ACT’ post code 2607 date stamp recorded between 1974 and
1979.
