Holt Post Office

Whilst there has never been a Holt Post Office as such, it would appear that a date stamp bearing the name may have been mistakenly prepared for the Kippax Post Office, located in the suburb of Holt which opened as a post and telephone office with money order facilities on 1 November 1976. The impression below was located by me in April 2019, on an official post office file, located within the National Archives of Australia. I have found no evidence in support of the date-stamp ever having been officially issued for use.
